BREAKING NEWS:
Debbie received a formal book contract on August 10, 2007 from Tate Publishing and Enterprises located in Mustang, Oklahoma. Not only will Little Lady, BIG DREAM become a national publication, but it will also become available via audio and e-book in the summer of 2008. "I couldn't be more excited," said Debbie. "I'm so glad I listened to my editor, Dr. Tim Morrison, and followed his advice. I simply thought my story was a local, hometown story . . . little did I know. I've been amazed already at the individuals whose lives have been touched by the sharing of my life story. I continue to receive daily verbal comments as well as emails from those who have read Little Lady, BIG DREAM."

I am so glad you stopped by! I always enjoy visiting with my friends and guests at my tree house known as Debbie's Place. Nestled among pines in the corner of our backyard at RoosterVille, my tree house is my haven - the place where I found the quietness and solitude necessary to write my first book, Little Lady, BIG DREAM.
My website was created in conjunction with the July 19, 2007 release of my new book. In twenty-nine chapters and 245 pages, I have done my best to share my life journey . . . from a shy little girl growing up in a small bedroom community in Southwest Georgia to the realization of my ultimate dream to build and operate my own assisted living residence and retirement community.
Although a "little lady," my dream proved ever so big! Actually, my dream was bigger than me . . . almost! Truly bigger than I could ever have imagined! It emerged from a very real life crisis that some might call a nightmare. Little Lady, BIG DREAM is a moving story of overcoming life's obstacles, finding purpose after loss and following a dream.
Hasn't everyone had dreams whether great or small? I pursued my dream and now I share the intimate details of that journey to the whole world to simply show you that I am really not much different than you. Why? Because so many have questioned over the years, "How did you do it, Debbie?" Through Little Lady, BIG DREAM I share how I created a multi-million dollar business using very little of my own money and retired at the young age of 48!
My challenge to you: grab hold of your dream and realize that no matter what circumstances you have faced, or are currently facing, it is possible to make your dreams come true, too.
